Today’s marking took place in the library – just for a change.
Just for general wonderings…
A weekend in Norfolk! It was quite an experience! We were staying with family just outside Norwich. They live in the middle of nowhere – about a 15min drive for Great Yarmouth. Thanks to Kev and Jacqui for a great weekend – next time keep your dodgy blackcurrant whiskey, your Alsono scotch and your posh port locked in the cupboard.
We decided that a visit to the beach sounded like a great idea. Great Yarmouth is like any other British beach during off season – cold and closed. Although we did visit ‘chip alley’ and managed to even find a Starbucks. So today’s picture just had to be us walking along the prom….
Didn't feel all that clever when I got into work this morning; by lunchtime I was feeling pretty crap. So by the time I got home I was pretty much ready to collapse on the sofa. Which is exactly what I did, this will be the view for the rest of the night…
I think the dog is feeling equally knackered. Next up: the rugby.
It has been mental at school. Do this. Do that. Everyone seems to be feeling the pressure at the moment. So at the end of a full days teaching followed by a bit of bus duty I returned to my classroom to contemplate what of the 100s of jobs I can cross off my to do list. Shall I plan for tomorrow? Shall I look at data? Shall I mark my year 7 books? My head was spinning with 'stuff' – so in an attempt to help settle my thinking I completed a very important job, that wasn't even on the to do list, I tidied my desk….
