Today was all about finishing a bit of marking ready for the new term on Monday. 

My fabulous Y11s have been doing some iconoclastic writing. They produced some pretty controversial pieces: white bias, immigration, euthanasia, religion and the sexualisation of women, just to mention a few. 

They’ll have plenty to ponder on Monday…

It was raining this morning. The perfect morning to hit the trails at Bourne Woods. It was muddy. 

Out for dinner. Terry cooked the main; we supplied the pudding…

Late night duty – using the coffee making facilities. 

Did some decorating; going for the 1970s meets the 21st Century.

The earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed according to their own kinds, and trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.
In other words I created Christmas Sloe Gin and the allotment produced some spuds. And Phil saw that it was good.
