Project365 #279

Today we had a MASSIVE rain storm. Now, I’m not one for exaggerating*, but it was HUGE.

It was like the end of the world. God had literally decided that enough was enough and created a downpour of immense proportions. Cars were thrown around like dinky toys, it looked like a toddler had had a temper tantrum.

The corridors became a dangerous mix of white water rapids and underwater currents, several desks disappeared never to be found again.

Students and staff were issued with life jackets and the staff uniform policy was suspended to allow for nautical rain macs and sou’westers.

 * actually I am prone to exaggerating

Project365 #277

With the day to myself it went something like this:

  • Up at 5am for an early duty at the Samaritans.
  • A 7mile run at Bourne Woods with the dog – who actually kept up pretty well today.
  • A couple of hours listening to some new vinyl.
  • An afternoon in front of the TV watching the rugby.
  • Work.

Today’s picture, the 277th of the year, ‘Vinyl Sunday’…
