Met these lovely boys this evening…

Children are going to love me more than normal tomorrow…. 

 

It was a visit to Marie that produced today’s picture. On arriving she told a very funny story that involved bedroom door slamming causing an unused stair gate to fall and wedge the door closed. 

Cue lots of pushing of door, tutting and general comments like “you’re going to have to break the door in”.

As no one possessed x-ray vision, or the ability to see round corners, it was difficult to imagine what actually had happened.

Cue the precarious positioning of phone to get a picture over the top of the door AND today’s picture… 

 
You should be able to see in the picture above various items that all signified failed attempts by various other people.

What did it take to sort out the problem? Tape measure, tie, a modified coat hanger and a chunk of luck. Sorted.

My mum is visiting for the weekend. This means we visit places. Today, Longthorpe Tower and, the 192nd photo of the year, Crowland Abbey… 

 

It was the first evening for a few days that I actually felt ok. So the evening was spent relaxing and chatting in the garden…
