Project365 #126

A lovely parcel from the postie was waiting for me when I returned home from a long day of limping around with my poorly calf muscles (see yesterday’s post for more info).

The parcel contained the latest offering from Passenger, Whispers II…

Although, that is not the actual picture of the day. Today’s picture is more exciting than that. Well at least slightly more exciting.

On opening CD I was delighted to find a lovely pop-up picture inside. How often do you get pop-up pictures with your CD? It had to make picture of the day…

Tuesday night is Bourne Town Harriers club training night. Now it has been a while since I have attended club training night.

It wasn’t the easiest of sessions to get back into the swing of things: mile reps. It was also a tough mile stretch with a couple of steep climbs.

Hence my sore calf muscles….

Last night was my cousin’s 50th birthday party. A good time was had by all, mainly helped by lots of Guinness and the odd cheeky shot.

Sunday morning in London? What is one to do?

There is only one thing to do….we joined every other person in London and made our way to IKEA…

 It was very busy.

To some, having a cup holder in your car is standard. You think nothing of it. It’s there; you use it.

For me, it is not standard. It is a first. My new (used) rather small, girly car has a cup holder!

Gone are the days of balancing Costa coffee cups on the dash. Gone are the days of sitting them in the footwell and driving very slowly round corners and avoiding potholes. Gone are the days of swearing when they slop all over the floor. Gone are the days of the stained cars mats and their distinct stale coffee odour.

I am happy.

Small things and all that….
