Project365 #99

Today was again one of those days with a plethora of pictures to choose from.

English Literature Workshop. Y11s were great – it was an enjoyable session. But didn’t make picture of the day.

Did a bit of car shopping this afternoon – could have included a picture of one of the 1000s of cars seen. But, no picture.

Oh. My. God. Game of Thrones. An absolutely fabulous episode – picture would have been my shocked face. Nope, didn’t make it.

Evening walk with dog at the woods. What should we come across? Pile of crap. Someone had done a spot of fly-tipping – dumped in the middle of the road that leads down to the car park. It looked so ridiculous it just had to make picture of the day…

Today was GCSE English Language Revision Workshop day!

So today’s picture had to be some fantastic Y11s working particularly hard – in fact the picture shows Team Amazing and Team Awesome in the midst of the battle. Please note the excessive pointing that seems to be taking place….

It is not that often that I find myself in Costa at the same time as a Chocolate Twist. Today was one of those rare days. A day full of sunshine. A day so magnificent that you could expect God himself to appear in Peterborough High Street and make his way there.

I entered Costa for one reason, and one reason only: a takeout coffee. Then I saw it.

The beautiful pastry, the succulent chocolate, the unusual yellow stuff that you’d think would be absolutely disgusting but is actually really nice. The mother of all pastries. A snowy dove trooping with crows. Like a mermaid at low tide draped over a rock. The fairy dust covered piece of gold, it held magic, it held adventure.

I had to have it.

So I bought it…

Nice.
