Today’s photo was an easy pick! Yep, I know what you’re all expecting, my mum. Well if that is the case: be disappointed. I didn’t actually see my mum today*.

So instead I give you the old ‘I ran a half marathon and here is my medal’ selfie…



It was the annual Newton’s Fraction Half – a really good event. It is always well organised and attracts plenty of runners. Also today, as a reward for finishing, I was given a t-shirt, goodie bad AND a medal. I’d also like to point out the rather German ‘look’ of the medal: gutes rennen.

Today’s photo was taken whilst out with the dog this morning. It was the only time I left the house.



The rest of the day was spent watching the F1 racing, the rugby and doing a bit of work.

Red Nose Day. The tombola stall was a complete success! Well done to everyone that helped out! 



Tomorrow is Red Nose Day, to celebrate, staff are making cakes to sell. 

I have made Chocolate Brownies and if I can manage to avoid eating the lot in the next 10mins they will indeed be in the staff room saving lives.



In other news I have also somehow been stitched-up with running the tombola stall. Thank the Lord I have some lovely tutees who have got it all sorted. 

In an attempt to put off a bit MORE marking – I cleaned the kitchen. Which after Chicken Jambalaya is quite a feat.
