Top Hat @ Norwich Theatre

This was our sixth visit to either a gig, the cinema, a comedy show, or the theatre. In fact, it was our third visit to the theatre so far.

There may be trouble ahead, but while there’s moonlight, and music, and love, and romance…let’s face the music and dance!

Difficult to say something bad about this show, it was a really nice night’s entertainment. Loads of great songs that we all know: Cheek to Cheek, Puttin’ On The Ritz, just to mention a couple.

The plot is pretty basic, man and woman fall in love, a bit of mistaken identity, and there you have it.

It’s based on the 1935 classic film, which starred Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. This is a really good adaptation and well worth a visit if you get a chance.

It’s difficult putting together an order of ‘most entertaining’ when you’re visiting so many different forms of entertainment. But doing it anyway. This goes in at number 2:
