It was parkrun this morning. Went on only my second visit to Lowestoft parkrun. It was a beautiful morning.

Just for general wonderings…

Today’s picture is a record: Noah and the Whale. It was what I was listening to this afternoon.
I was inspired to get it spinning thanks to BBC Sounds and ‘Tracks of my Years’. They had Marcus Mumford on it and he was talking about the music scene he was involved with, including Laura Marling, Florence and the Machine, and Noah and the Whale.
Noah and the Whale made it to the turntable first.

Wednesday after school is swimming. 30mins up and down our weirdly small school swimming pool.
This is probably first swim for around a month so it felt extra tough tonight. I’ve been promising myself to book a few lessons; I find swimming really difficult and want to be better. It’s on the list!

Saturday morning is often parkrun for me. Today it was my local one: Beccles Quay.

Struggled a bit this morning, was going for a fast one, but legs couldn’t keep up. Official time: 22.46. It’s also not really a quick parkrun, very uneven terrain and a bit twisty. So I’m taking it!
Last morning of the stay. Beach walk.

Good Friday. Painting. Gone for purple…
