It has been mental at school. Do this. Do that. Everyone seems to be feeling the pressure at the moment. So at the end of a full days teaching followed by a bit of bus duty I returned to my classroom to contemplate what of the 100s of jobs I can cross off my to do list. Shall I plan for tomorrow? Shall I look at data? Shall I mark my year 7 books? My head was spinning with 'stuff' – so in an attempt to help settle my thinking I completed a very important job, that wasn't even on the to do list, I tidied my desk….

It just had to be today's picture…it doesn't happen that often.

It has been a bit of a film fest recently.

  • Saturday it was 'Lucy' – action all the way – clever idea – I really enjoyed it.
  • Sunday it was 'Dallas Buyers Club' – out a while ago I know – I'm a fan of Matthew McConaughey – but I really didn't like the film – slow and boring.
  • Tonight it was 'The Maze Runner' – having read the book, which I thought was really good, I was looking forward to watching the film – which was pretty good, very different to the book, but overall I enjoyed it.
Which leads me to today's picture. It was really cold this evening, so on arrival home it was heating on, dinner on sofa in front of tv and nothing else. It wasn't until 9pm that I looked out the window. It had snowed.
