I don't know if it is the fact that today is the penultimate day of Juneathon, but I found the run tonight very hard work. It was always going to be a short run as the weekend has been very busy; travelling here there and everywhere. The 3 miles I ran felt like 33 miles: my legs were aching; my breathing was a mess; and my head was all over the place. I think I just had it in my mind that the month is nearly finished so it made the run seem harder than it actually was.

Today's mileage 3.04

A morning run because I had a busy day ahead. 4 or so miles round the woods, including a very fast fourth mile. Pleased to report I've completed over 120 miles so far. Then it was down south to see my niece and nephew…..

Today's mileage = 4.44

#juneathon day 26….plus a bit of stating the obvious…

Today was day 26 of Juneathon. That just leaves day 27, 28, 29 & 30.

So four more runs and I get a rest day, in fact I may actually treat myself to more than just the one rest day.

Tonight's run was crowbarred in between a late day at school attending transition evening and the Belgium game. This year's Juneathon has been extra difficult to complete because of the World Cup, but somehow I've managed to run every day and completed some of the most tedious and boring blogs ever written.

Today's mileage = 5.02

Total Juneathon mileage = 114.27

#juneathon day 25….

Amazingly, I have somehow completed 25 days running on the bounce. Normally by this stage of Juneathon I'm thinking of knocking it on the head. But all in all it seems to be going alright, calves are aching a bit, hence the slightly lighter mileage recently.

So on to today…

Elective afternoon at school, so the run was a couple of miles done during ~~Sunbathing Club~~ Running Club. It was hard work motivating the 'runners' today.

Today's mileage = 2.15

Total Juneathon mileage = 109.25
