We now have a plan for the last half dozen or so weeks with year 11…

We’ve been studying Romeo & Juliet. We’re at the point in the play where Romeo, thinking Juliet is dead, visits an apothecary to purchase poison to kill himself next to her.
We often draw the apothecary shop, partly to explore Shakespeare’s language choices, and partly for the students to discover my artistic prowess.

Wednesday. Bag. Changing rooms. Swimming.

World Book Day.

The An Inspector Calls quotation wall was spruced up by some of my year 10s today.

Some of the girls in my tutor group helped with a bit of a tidy of the classroom: books, folders, posters and stuff. Looking good.
