Some work to be done over the summer me thinks.

Today was the first serious step in an attempt to cycle 100 miles in one day.

One lap of Rutland Water including the peninsula… 

 
It was pretty hard work, I’ve done a bit of running round the reservoir, but never remembered it being quite as hilly as it was. But pretty happy, it’s only 22 miles, but baby steps and all that.

I had to venture to Stamford to collect the car. So I took in the sights and sounds of Stamford’s Friday Market…
