A nice gentle run round the woods to test out my achey leg. Pleased to report it doesn’t ache too much.

In other news, the dog had a spa day yesterday. Washed, trimmed and pampered… 

After the final English revision workshop of the year, sustenance was required. Cue the sister-in-law: some rather lovely stuffed butternut squash gratin. 

Enough said. 

Yesterday I made a totally amazing ‘one of a kind’ photo frame. 

Materials: £3 frame and a poundland pack of pencils. 

It involved two hours of cutting, sharpening and glueing. This morning the glue had dried and despite what I thought may have happened, everything stuck. Result.

I am now the craft queen.

After a long and arduous journey through the deepest depths of Lincolnshire, a 4-slice toaster is the reward….

An afternoon walk with the dog over the local fields. He won’t look all lovely and fluffy for long; he is due his summer hair cut on Thursday.
