Juneathon Day 12

A loop of the village, just short of 5 miles, 4.81 miles to be precise. Incredibly, considering the on/off showers we’ve had all day, I managed to stay dry.

Lots of the fields are full of potatoes this year, definitely more than normal, not sure why that is.

Today’s listening entertainment was Bastille’s fantastic album ‘Doom Days’. Now I’m quite partial to a concept album. ‘A Grand Don’t Come for Free’ by The Streets is a particular favourite of mine. So I love ‘Doom Days’. Each song is set at a particular time on a party night. The opening track, ‘Quarter Past Midnight’ is a great opening track.

I also love the album cover

Juneathon Day 10

I put on the trail shoes today and set off to avoid the roads.

Managed to find a few footpaths, which at times, although they had recently been cut back, were still quite tough to run on.

Plus a bit of running along the edge of fields.

5.17 miles in all. Nice to get off the roads and give the trail shoes a run out!

Juneathon Day 9

First bike ride of the year!

It was a five mile cycle to the Ravenous Cafe at Raveningham.

Kerry had tea and chocolate cake and I went back to the 1980s for coffee and bread pudding.

Then we rode the five miles back. Done.
