Juneathon Day 13

Nearly half way through and I’m not giving way – no way!

A very hot few miles after watching the mighty Eng-er-land get off to a great start against Croatia.

Juneathon Day 12

And on the twelfth day God said…go for a bike ride. So in honour of the big man it was all about visiting a few local churches.

Juneathon Totals:

Running = 35.6 miles

Juneathon Day 11

Very early run, before 6am, wasn’t really feeling it – but it got done!!

When the alarm went off at 5.40am there were plenty of excuses running through my head. But sometimes you just have to put aside all the excuses and power through. There’s an Instagram influencer quote somewhere there – but I really can’t be bother to look for it.

Today’s theme: water.

Juneathon Totals:

Running = 35.6 miles

Gym Sessions = 2

Juneathon Day 10

It’s Thursday. Thursday is a gym day – so no run again today.

Instead it was a 45 min workout. The session was pretty hard in the afternoon heat and required the use of virtually every single piece of equipment.

The session included burpees, squats, rowing, millions of weights, a bit of treadmill and anything and everything else. There was sweat.

Juneathon Totals:

Running = 32.5

Gym Sessions = 2

Book 13 of 2021

Crater Lake by Jennifer Killick

I like reading teenager fiction. Although this is probably aimed at a slightly younger audience: 11-13 year olds. A great recommendation for those reluctant readers. It has lots going on: adventure, action, aliens, horror and humour.

It only got 3 stars because – as good as it is for an 11-year-old – it was slightly too young for me.
