Mum is staying the weekend. She has a thing about cathedrals – so we went to Leicester Cathedral to have a look.

It was all a bit strange – they were cleaning up after the ‘first phase of building’ – all very messy and wasn’t allowed to see anything.

When I woke up this morning I was amazed it was only Wednesday. It felt like the week should have been coming to an end. Furthermore, as I walked into the school canteen at lunchtime today I was met by the smell of chips. Was it Friday? Was it chip day? I was confused. The cure for my confusion? Chips. In fact, fish fingers, chips and peas.

Although I ate them so fast that a picture was out of the question. Instead, for your entertainment…an empty plate that once contained fish fingers, chips and peas…

Today’s marking took place in the library – just for a change.

A weekend in Norfolk! It was quite an experience! We were staying with family just outside Norwich. They live in the middle of nowhere – about a 15min drive for Great Yarmouth. Thanks to Kev and Jacqui for a great weekend – next time keep your dodgy blackcurrant whiskey, your Alsono scotch and your posh port locked in the cupboard.

We decided that a visit to the beach sounded like a great idea. Great Yarmouth is like any other British beach during off season – cold and closed. Although we did visit ‘chip alley’ and managed to even find a Starbucks. So today’s picture just had to be us walking along the prom….
