Project365 #67

It doesn't often happen, but today I was faced with a plethora of pictures that could all have made the coveted 'picture of the day'.

A visit to the Garden Centre for a coffee and a browse resulted in the discovery of dog food at £2.49 a tin…

But that was not amazing enough to make 'picture of the day'.

Whilst having a coffee I even had time to solve a couple of issues I'm having with Microsoft Word – they have one of those handy 'book swap' schemes. Although as the book was virtually 20 years out of date, I had a few problems finding the correct icon when I got home…

But that was not amazing enough to make 'picture of the day'.

I managed to get a bit of work done early today, meaning we were free to hit the pub for some grub come the evening. And for desert, 'Neopolitan Belgium Waffle'…

But that was not amazing enough to make 'picture of the day'.

And what made it? Well, Sunday night is the new Saturday night….may I present Project365 #67…

….it had to be didn't it.

Project365 #49

Often the 'photo of the day' is something pretty mundane, mainly because I had forgotten about it. Already this year we have had: me watching the TV; plates of food, sometimes even empty plates of food; and plenty of piles of marking. Today was different. Today Project365 was at the forefront of my mind. Today we had a choice:

1. After waking up pretty early I took a picture of the book I'm reading, that could easily have made Project365.

2. Popped into town for breakfast. It looked good. Took picture. That didn't make the blog.

3. I washed the car. That very rarely happens. Again, nope.

So what amazing event made day 49 of Project365 I hear you ask. What experience was important enough to be captured in a moment of digital splendour?

I sorted out the garage…

Next job: get the car in!

Project365 #36

It has been mental at school. Do this. Do that. Everyone seems to be feeling the pressure at the moment. So at the end of a full days teaching followed by a bit of bus duty I returned to my classroom to contemplate what of the 100s of jobs I can cross off my to do list. Shall I plan for tomorrow? Shall I look at data? Shall I mark my year 7 books? My head was spinning with 'stuff' – so in an attempt to help settle my thinking I completed a very important job, that wasn't even on the to do list, I tidied my desk….

It just had to be today's picture…it doesn't happen that often.
