Janathon Day 23

I have done zero exercise today. Nothing. Zilch. Buggar all.

I am ill. I have been ill all day. I felt a bit dodgy Friday afternoon. However I am now seriously ill.

I can barely move. I have been curled up on the sofa under a crochet blanket all day.  

 

Janathon Day 21

Today, if we are going by the marathon training schedule, should have been a 7 mile easy run. However, in the real world, it was a rest day. It was Y11 parents’ evening and I didn’t get out of school until 8pm. 

So by the time I got home and had had something to eat there was only one exercise that I could possibly partake in. Our friend. The plank.

The result? I smashed it. By a massive 7 seconds. New PB.

Janathon Day 19 – speed…

Gym. Speed work.

The plan went something like this… 

 
It’s always a bit tricky doing fast/slow fartlek stuff on the treadmill, especially when it is only 200m reps. I felt like I was forever pressing buttons, changing the speed up and down. Although after 50ish mins I had indeed completed the session. 

 
8km, 5miles in old money. Done.
